Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo is secure and protected against damage.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel to ensure high service standards.
- Manage paperwork accurately, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, navigation, and safe driving practices.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing duties requiring standing or walking.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
