Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes in and around Louisville, KY.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, delivery receipts, and mileage reports in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including handling signatures and inquiries professionally.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred (Local route experience a plus).
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
