Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during pickups and deliveries.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Uphold a professional image and safety culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Passenger (P) and Hazardous Materials (H) endorsements preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
