Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently along assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to lift and carry cargo as required by the load.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
