Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations within schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety.
- Observe all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and third parties.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and documentation for compliance.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (related to loading/unloading tasks).
