Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles in accordance with FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging (ELD) and paperwork.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, interstate commerce, and route planning.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
