Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations in the Milwaukee area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service during loading and unloading procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card (physical) is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Proven experience in local or regional delivery driving.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional weekend availability.
