Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop delivery routes across Oahu
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and Hawaii state driving laws
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
- Optimize route efficiency while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Honolulu area streets and traffic patterns
- Pass federal DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for ELD systems
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
