Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo with precision, ensuring 100% product integrity and safety.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting all findings.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients at each delivery stop.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Strong knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging and paperwork.
