Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Manage delivery documentation and customer communications
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions to maintain delivery timelines
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and regulations
- Proficient using GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for early morning start times (4:00 AM)
