Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver products to customers in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both the driver and the cargo.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and a satisfactory background check.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
