Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes within Northern California
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flawless safety records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs per DOT regulations
- Manage secure cargo handling and documentation for high-value freight
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route optimization and real-time communication
- Represent the company professionally in customer interactions at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and port operations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Experience with refrigerated or flatbed trailers a plus
