Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and submit incident reports when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of NJ/NYC traffic regulations and route navigation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional overtime
