Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
