Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Louisiana
- Safely load/unload freight using provided equipment and pallet jacks
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status and route changes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
