Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A trucks and specialized equipment for local/regional routes
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload freight using provided tools and equipment (no manual pallet jacking)
- Document deliveries accurately using electronic logging systems
- Represent the company professionally with clients and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally with provided equipment
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-paid)
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
