Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment and maintain secure cargo practices
- Adhere to DOT regulations, including HOS compliance and accurate logbook maintenance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Deliver freight to designated locations with on-time performance focus
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills and route optimization knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
