Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles for regional routes within Houston metropolitan area
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper material handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to strict delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Familiarity with Houston-area roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
