Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Texas and border states
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant vehicle logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment while ensuring cargo security
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and optimize route efficiency
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations, HOS requirements, and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred for border crossings
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or tanker equipment
