Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) on designated local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, straps, and chains to ensure safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and physical examination card on file.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
