Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on scheduled routes within Durham and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Adapt routes efficiently to accommodate delivery schedules and traffic conditions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery timelines and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Effective communication abilities for customer interactions
- Pass background check and drug screening
