Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following all traffic regulations and company policies
- Efficiently load, secure, and unload packages using proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Proficiency using smartphone navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
