Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Transport goods across Minneapolis metro and regional routes with on-time delivery
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and real-time tracking
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Minneapolis metro area and regional highways
- DOT medical certification and clean background check
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts as needed
