Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while adhering to DOT regulations
- Execute efficient delivery routes with precise timing and route optimization
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Load/unload cargo safely using proper equipment and techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Participate in continuous safety training and compliance updates
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of hazmat handling if applicable
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
