Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop deliveries in the Raleigh-Durham region
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and compliance documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting strict delivery timeframes
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Knowledge of local/regional highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
