Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on designated routes throughout Erie County and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections, post-trip inspections, and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Western New York roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and some weekends
