Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across Louisiana and neighboring states
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while meeting strict timelines
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Louisiana roadways and regional logistics
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
