Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently to deliver cargo to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Entry-level drivers with a CDL permit and schooling are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Basic English language skills for communication.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and travel as needed.
