Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial customers throughout San Diego.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and company weight limits.
- Verify delivery addresses and handle customer interactions professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Follow all traffic laws and traffic control devices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Complete accurate delivery logs and paperwork, including electronic proof of delivery.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments.
- Reliable smartphone access for route navigation and company communication.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
