Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional route deliveries within DFW area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure on-time delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel
- Complete required paperwork including delivery receipts and incident reports
- Represent the company professionally while maintaining excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable Class A commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and safety procedures
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices and navigation systems
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to start shifts as early as 4:00 AM
