Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Atlanta metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and adhere to weight distribution guidelines
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery deadlines
- Interact professionally with clients and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Comply with DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Complete electronic logging (ELD) and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metropolitan roadways and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and clean drug test history
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
