Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Deliver time-sensitive shipments to commercial and residential locations
- Implement defensive driving techniques to ensure zero-incident record
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no preventable accidents in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and climb trailer steps
- Familiarity with CA route planning and weather considerations
- Pass background check and drug screening
