Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) following all DOT and company regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads securely.
- Deliver products to customers in a professional and timely manner, verifying signatures and addresses.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean driving record and practice defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Update electronic logging devices (ELD) and complete daily delivery reports accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
