Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial tractor-trailers on assigned local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to scheduled delivery windows.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
