Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned routes throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols to prevent damage.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and logbook entries accurately.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to all company policies and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the public and crew.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A) required immediately.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and good moral standing.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and maintain medical certification.
- Basic math skills for cargo calculations and change making.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and occasional weekends.
