Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork in strict compliance with DOT regulations.
- Secure cargo properly and perform load checks to prevent damage and ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and federal regulations at all times.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
