Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Deliver freight on time to designated customer locations in Washington and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logs.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of OTR (Over-the-Road) driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
