Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and documentation for all shipments.
- Load and unload cargo using proper securing techniques to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel within the region.
