Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pick-up and delivery processes.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to dispatch.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and valid DOT physical examination on file.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement techniques and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts based on operational needs.
