Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Keep the tractor and trailer clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and a post-offer drug screen.
- Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel regionally or OTR as needed.
