Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations in Illinois and surrounding regions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading procedures to ensure cargo integrity and security.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid medical card.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
