Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on various routes throughout the Colorado Springs area and beyond.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Deliver freight on time while providing exceptional customer service to consignees.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and bars to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible weekend shifts and overtime when required.
