Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner across various routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety standards are met.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate logs (Electronic Logging Device - ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
- Keep the truck clean, organized, and well-maintained during and after shifts.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Card) and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Familiarity with standard cargo handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to federal regulations.
