Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, securing it properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and maintain a clean driving record.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) free of major violations.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement and DOT compliance standards.
- Must be willing to pass a drug screen and background check.
