Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over assigned routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, and delivery paperwork (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and DOT Drug Screen clearance.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
