Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across California and surrounding regions.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (E-Logs) and daily delivery documentation.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and forklifts when necessary.
- Navigate delivery routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial truck driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) and pass a background check.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state commercial driving regulations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and adhere to a substance-free workplace policy.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
