Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in various weather conditions.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/DSO) and records in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling equipment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medication Waiver allowed).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 minor violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor adjustments and troubleshooting.
