Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (Electronic Logging Device) and mileage records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times, route changes, and any issues encountered on the road.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service and safety culture.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clear driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
