Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and other logbooks.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, conduct, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Willingness to cross state lines as needed.
