Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various terrains and routes.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using proper lifting equipment and tie-downs.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and daily mileage reports.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate and DOT physical card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and vehicle handling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed.
